The Illinois Tollway is hosting a free networking event to introduce the agency's new Job Order Contracting (JOC) Facilities Program and provide details on how contractors and subcontractors can get involved in the agency's facilities-related projects.

The JOC Facilities Program will allow the Illinois Tollway to complete facilities-related projects at its headquarters, maintenance sites and toll plazas in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The JOC Networking Event is open to all firms involved in facility construction, repairs and rehabilitation, including general contractors and subcontractors. We invite you to attend the free event to learn about the following topics:

  • The JOC Facilities Program process and benefits to contractors
  • How to do business with the Tollway
  • The upcoming invitation for bid, which is the Tollway's process for asking contractors to submit proposals on specific projects, including information about:
    • Contract documents
    • Construction Task Catalog
    • Technical specifications
    • Diversity requirements

Join us on Tuesday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn, 9333 S. Cicero Ave. in Oak Lawn.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other construction contractors and subcontractors, including Business Enterprise Program-certified firms; disadvantaged, minority- and women-owned business enterprises; veteran-owned and service-disabled, veteran-owned businesses; as well as small businesses.
